When Das MacDermott intercedes in a violent attack against Aislinn, his interference is not well received. Unknown to Das, Aislinn is one of the Sidhe, the fairy kings of Ireland. Caught in a centuries-long civil war, and now under a death sentence, Aislinn uses Das to conceal herself. But Das is not what he seems, either, and both will soon discover how their two stories are linked.
